I got these sweet Chippewa Apache Lacer Boots today.
There are a couple things I look for in a pair of boots. Number one is durability. I’m hard on…well… pretty much everything I own, so they need to be able to take a beating. The second thing is comfort. These need to get me through 12 hours of walking, standing, or working and based on the reviews I read on Zappos, and my first few hours of wearing them - neither of the first two concerns should be a problem. Another concern is sartorial appeal. Do they look good? Yes. They. Do. These things have a rugged finish which out of the box is handsome and will only get better with wear. They look good with a pair of jeans, they’ll hold up with a pair of khakis and perhaps most importantly - they’ll look good on the pegs of a motorcycle. All in all, I’m super happy with the purchase. The icing on the cake is that they’re handcrafted in the USA. It always feels good to support American industry, especially when it’s a high quality, affordable product like these boots. You’ll definitely see more of these guys.
